A CHANNEL FOR THE CURIOUS

An unfiltered window into everyday Japan.

VIRTUAL JAPAN follows the pace of real streets: a train arriving, a neighborhood waking up, a side road glowing after sunset. Come for a moment of presence, and stay for the details you would otherwise miss.

BEHIND THE CHANNEL

Built for the work behind the walk.

A clear boundary between what we share publicly and what keeps the channel running.

Private by design.

VIRTUAL JAPAN uses private internal tools to operate and understand its own YouTube channel. These tools use the YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API, and YouTube Reporting API to retrieve channel and video information, non-monetary performance reports, and authorized monetary reporting data. They are operated only by VIRTUAL JAPAN and are not available for public account authorization.
