1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the VIRTUAL JAPAN website and its private internal tools handle information. It describes the data the operator accesses through YouTube API Services, why that data is used, where it is stored, and how it can be removed.

The public website is informational. This policy applies to information handled through the private tools and to questions about this website.

2. Private internal tools and personal-use status

The tools described here are private internal tools used for the operator's personal workflow. They are not offered as a public service, and they are not intended for use by other creators or general users. There is no public sign-up or public user account service.

3. YouTube API Services used

The private tools use the YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API, and YouTube Reporting API. They request information that the operator's authorized YouTube account makes available to those services. API access and related account controls are also subject to Google's policies.

4. Data accessed

Depending on the permissions and reports available to the authorized account, the tools may access:

• channel and video metadata, such as titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publishing details, and status;
• analytics data used to understand channel and video performance;
• non-monetary reports, including audience, traffic, or playback data made available by the APIs;
• monetary reports and monetary reporting data, such as revenue-related figures included in reports made available to the authorized account; and
• authorization credentials needed for requests, such as tokens or equivalent authorization data.

The tools are intended to request only information needed for the uses described below. The available data can change with account permissions and the reports provided by YouTube.

5. Uses

The accessed information is used for private internal purposes:

• channel operations and routine channel administration;
• reporting and review of channel or video performance;
• historical analysis of available channel information;
• content planning for the VIRTUAL JAPAN channel; and
• internal workflow improvement.

The information is not used to provide a separate public service or to build profiles for other creators.

6. Storage

The private tools store relevant information in private Cloudflare D1 and private local agent memory files. These locations support the operator's private workflow and are not public publishing locations.

OAuth authorization credentials are retained privately only where required for agents to make authorized API requests.

The storage details in this policy are limited to these locations; no additional storage control is promised.

7. Sharing

We do not sell this data, make it publicly available, use it for third-party advertising, or give access to other creators. The only processing outside the operator's direct workflow is infrastructure processing required to operate the tools, such as storage and request handling.

8. Retention

The operator follows this lifecycle manually. Analytics, Reporting, and authorized statistics data may be kept longer than 30 days only while authorization remains active. Authorization is checked at least every 30 days.

All other stored YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. Information that is no longer required is manually deleted from Cloudflare D1 and private local storage.

9. Control and deletion

Access can be revoked through the connected Google Account's Google security settings ↗.

When access is revoked through Google, the operator stops authorized access and deletes related stored API data as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days. For a token that cannot be refreshed, the operator likewise stops authorized access and deletes related stored API data as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days.

A direct deletion request or an internal revocation causes the operator to delete related stored data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. Deleting internal stored copies does not delete information held by YouTube; information held there must be deleted through YouTube or another authorized client that supports deletion.

The official VIRTUAL JAPAN channel contact is an additional path for deletion requests and privacy questions. Contacting the channel is not a prerequisite for deletion after revocation.

10. Security, children, changes, and contact

Security

The operator treats the named storage locations as private. Specific security measures are not stated here, and no process removes every risk or guarantees against unauthorized access.

Children

The private tools are intended for the operator's personal use, not for children. They do not intentionally seek information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the website or private workflow changes. The version posted on this page is the current version, and its effective date identifies when it took effect.
